A German SME offers an ultra-thin tabletop microendoscopy system for in vivo imaging. Its ⌀100 µm probe enables minimally invasive deep-tissue fluorescence microscopy with performance comparable to a 20× objective. Scanning rates of up to 24 kHz allow high-temporal-resolution capture of fast biological dynamics. Applications include rodent neuroscience, such as deep-brain calcium and voltage imaging, structural imaging, and blood-flow studies.
